Liverpool almost won the Premier League in the 2013-14 campaign thanks to the brilliance of Luis Suarez but eventually fell short.
The Uruguayan superstar netted 31 goals in 33 PL appearances in that campaign but soon he departed the Reds and joined Barcelona.
Suarez is one of the best strikers in the world at the moment and he will always be remembered by the Anfield faithful.
Recently, the 30-year-old star has shed light on his time with the Merseysiders and claimed that Liverpool are a dream club (LFC).
“When I was little, Liverpool was one of the biggest clubs in Europe and was renowned throughout the world,”
“So when I found out about the club’s interest in me I was never in doubt because it’s the dream for any player.”
“I never imagined that I would get the chance to play there.”
Since moving to the Catalan giants, the South American center forward has won the La Liga title twice. He won the Champions League in his first season with Barca.
In the last campaign, Luis featured in 51 games and directly contributed in no fewer than 57 goals (37 goals and 20 assists).
Liverpool supporters would love to have Luis back at Anfield but it is highly unlikely that he will return, especially after he signed a new deal back in December and his contract includes a mammoth release clause of €200million (FCB).
viva Luis the absolute cream
I enjoyed every minute he played for Liverpool fc
