Angel Correa Tempted to Sign for Liverpool – $16m Contract Offered by Reds

Liverpool have so far signed attacking players like Solanke and Salah in the summer transfer window and they must now focus on reinforcing other key departments.
However, the latest reports are still linking the Reds with more attacking players and the latest name in the lime light is Argentine international and Atletico Madrid playmaker Angel Correa.
According to Foot Mercato, the South American attacker’s profile has been approved by Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool have offered him a deal that will make him earn $3.2million-a-year, $16million in the next five years.
The French source have claimed that the La Albiceleste player is indeed tempted to sign for Liverpool, however, he is looking to get a deal that will make him earn $5.1million-a-year.

Correa is naturally a right winger but he can effectively be deployed anywhere in the attacking third.
Atletico Madrid already have more than a few top quality playmakers in their team, therefore, Angel did not start regularly under the management of Diego Simeone last season. However, when given the chance, he did impress.
In total, he started 17 times for the La Liga giants and directly contributed in no fewer than 19 goals (8 goals and 11 assists) in the last campaign.
