Another day, another transfer report linking Leipzig star Naby Keita with a move to Liverpool Football Club.
Few days back, we covered a report (via Amadou Makadji & Times) claiming that Liverpool have made a contract offer worth €7.8million-a-year to hire the services of the African star.
Now, the Guinean journalist has provided an update and claimed (twitter) that after the offer, the 22-year-old midfielder has met with the German side twice to confirm his intention to join the Merseysiders in the summer transfer window.
Amadou stated that Keita’s latest meeting with Leipzig was held yesterday in which his agent was present as well. In the discussions, the player confirmed his desire to join the Anfield club.

Makadji further mentioned that now the ball is in the court of the Bundesliga club and they will decide whether to sell or keep.
Not to forget, Liverpool will have to break the bank to the services of Keita, who is valued at 70 million pounds (BBC).
The versatile star can play anywhere in the midfield and will largely improve Jurgen Klopp’s team if he moves. He scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists in all competitions for Leipzig and helped them qualify for the Champions League in the last campaign.
