Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is looking to sign a solid play breaker in the summer transfer window and Monaco star Fabinho is in the limelight.
According to renowned Italian source Corriere dello Sport, the 23-year-old Brazilain international is getting closer to signing for the Red Devils after Monaco agreed a fee worth 40 million euros ($45million) with the British side.
When asked about the deal, the writer of the story replied (twitter) that the move is close and could be completed next week.
The Samba star is a versatile talent who can effectively play in two positions. In the 2015-16 campaign, Monaco mainly utilized him in the right back position.

However, in the last campaign, the former Real Madrid player mainly played as a defensive midfielder for the Ligue 1 side and proved to be fantastic.
He not only provided a solid cover in front of the back four but was also productive in the attack. In 55 appearances (all competitions), Fabinho managed to directly contribute in 18 goals (12 goals and 6 assists).
The South American star partnered Bakayoko in the center of the park for Monaco last season and as per recent reports (via Daily Mail) Chelsea have agreed a fee to sign the French international.
