Manchester United need to sign a proven quality center forward in the summer transfer window to strengthen their attack and recent reports are heavily linking them with Spanish star Alvaro Morata.
Guillem Balague tweeted during the Champions League final and claimed that Manchester United would love to sign Morata and have already contacted Real Madrid.
Yesterday, Telegraph reported that the Red Devils are looking to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic and are eyeing a move for Morata, who is rated around £50million.
More recently, renowned Italian football journalist Tancredi Palmeri also tweeted that the Old Trafford club have contacted the Los Blancos to inquire about signing the 24-year-old striker.
The La Roja center forward left Juventus to re-sign for Real last summer but since then, he has mainly warmed the bench. Hence, a move away from the Bernabeu should be fruitful for him.
Madrid successfully retained their Champions League title on Saturday and in that competition, Morata could only start once.
Moreover, he only started 14 times in the League. Overall, in 43 appearances (19 starts), the former Old Lady striker scored 20 goals and provided 6 assists.
As per the provided Telegraph link, United are also linked with quality strikers like Lukaku and Belotti but their price tags are very high and therefore, Mourinho regards Morata as a more feasible option. In your opinion, who should Jose sign to reinforce his strike-force?
