Jose Mourinho has been interested in signing Croatian international and Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic for some time and the latest reports suggest that at the moment, price is the main issue.
According to CalcioMercato, the Nerazzurri need 30 million euros to balance the books before 30th June to respect the Financial Fairplay agreement and they are ready to sell the former Borussia Dortmund star.
The Italian source claim that Manchester United are well aware of Inter Milan’s financial situation, they want to take advantage and made an offer worth 30 million euros to sign Perisic, however, the Serie A side rejected the move and are adamant that they want at least 50 million euros ($56million) for their prized asset.
United know that time is against Inter and therefore, they have not yet made a second improved offer but CalcioMercato (link provided above) claim that the bid will eventually arrive because Mourinho has explicitly requested the club to sign the Croat attacker.

Not so long ago, we covered a report (via Correire dello Sport) claiming that the 28-year-old playmaker has already agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.
Ivan scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists in all competitions for Inter last season and he has been a key member of the Croatian national side since making his debut back in 2011.
In your opinion, is Ivan Perisic good enough to improve Manchester United’s attacking department?
