Jose Mourinho won three titles in his first season with Manchester United but the Red Devils had a torrid Premier League campaign.
The former Chelsea boss is planning to sign top quality players in the summer transfer window to push for the PL title next season.
The Red Devils have already agreed to sign (via Official MUFC) Victor Lindelof from Benfica and if reports in the media are anything to go by then they have agreed a salary worth €6million-a-season for €50million rated winger Ivan Perisic (Corriere dello Sport).
In the last campaign, Perisic scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists in 42 games for the Nerazzurri (all competitions).
Ivan is an experienced star, who has played 56 times for senior Croatian side and scored 16 goals. The 28-year-old star can effectively play anywhere in the attacking third but naturally, he is a left winger.
We can expect Mourinho to start Perisic in his preferred position if he does end up joining the Old Trafford club. The former Chelsea boss mainly used a 4-2-3-1 formation last season and Martial was his main left winger. Expect Perisic to replace the French international in the starting XI.
