Last season, the ex Celtic defender featured in 30 games (all competitions) for Southampton and scored 4 goals. He was brilliant at the back before suffering a foot injury in the month of January.
Under the management of Conte, Chelsea were fantastic at the back with stars like Cahill, Luiz and Azpilicueta lining up in the three man defense.
The likes of Azpilicueta and Luiz are also productive in the attacking third for the team therefore, if Van Dijk does end up moving to Stamford Bridge, we can expect him replace Cahill in the starting XI.
As per the link provided above, the Blues have agreed a fee to sign Bakayoko so we have also included him in the team formation. Here is how Chelsea will line up with Van Dijk.
