Arsene Wenger Wants Gunners to Sign James Rodriguez

Arsenal are determined to improve the quality of their squad in the summer transfer window and have already agreed the signing of Bosnian left back Sead Kolasinac.
If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then the North Londoners are now linked with Colombian international and Real Madrid star James Rodriguez.
According to Mirror, Arsene Wenger has put the former Monaco star on his wanted list and the French boss is weighing up a bid to secure his signature.
Rodriguez’s current deal with the European Champions will expire in 2020 and as per the provided Mirror link, he is valued at £50million.
James is a top quality playmaker, who should be playing regular first team football but last season, he only started 20 games in all competitions for Los Blancos. His stats were still impressive as he directly contributed in no fewer than 24 goals (11 goals and 13 assists).
Capable of playing anywhere in the attacking third, Rodriguez will largely improve the quality of Arsenal’s offense. The Gunners will surely have to pay him a huge salary. At the moment, he is getting (Daily Star) around £185,000-a-week (€210,000-a-week).
As per the provided Mirror link, the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United have also been linked with the South American attacker and unlike Arsenal, they will be taking part in the Champions League next season.
