$56million Move Made – Manchester United Very Close to Signing Star

Manchester United need to sign a strong defensive midfielder in the summer transfer window and they are linked with a versatile star in the form of Fabinho.
Few days back, we covered a report (via CdS) claiming that the Red Devils have agreed a fee worth 40 million euros with the French champions to hire the services of the Brazilian star.
Now, as per an update provided by Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, United are in talks with Monaco after making a move worth 50 million euros ($56million) and the 23-year-old Samba star is very close to joining the Old Trafford club.
The Italian journalist says that Mourinho is looking to sign a wing-back and wants Fabinho at Man United.

As mentioned in our previous article (link provided above), the South American star mainly played as a defensive midfielder in the last campaign and was rarely used in the fullback position.
However, in the 2015-16 campaign, Monaco mainly utilized him in the right back position.
United have a top quality right back in the form of Antonio Valencia, who was fantastic last season but they do not have a strong holding midfield star. Therefore, we can expect Fabinho to partner Herrera in the center of the park if he moves to Manchester United.
