Manchester United were unbeaten for 26 games in the Premier League but have now suffered back to back defeats against the North London clubs.
The Red Devils were beaten by Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates and yesterday, Tottenham Hotspur piled more misery on Mouirnho by beating his side 2-1 in the final game at White Hart Lane.
The former Chelsea boss is clearly focusing on the Europa League final and once again opted to play a weakened side in the Premier League. As expected, Tottenham dominated the proceedings at home and deservedly won the contest 2-1.
Things could have been worse for the Old Trafford club but Spanish goalie David De Gea made some superb saves to keep the scoreline respectable.
Skipper Wayne Rooney was once again average for the Red Devils but still managed to score a goal. Martial was the brightest player in the attack for United and came close to curling the ball in the net on two occasions.
