Man Utd in Pole Position to Agree $91million Star Signing – Not Griezmann

Manchester United have been linked with numerous top quality players recently and Portuguese star Bernardo Silva is one of them.
Last month, we covered a report (via GFFN via France Football) claiming that the Red Devils are in advanced talks to hire the services of the 22-year-old playmaker from Monaco.
Now, if reports in the media are anything to go by (Le Figaro via Canal +), the Seleccao star is expected to leave the Ligue 1 champions in the summer transfer window and is likely to join Manchester United, who are in pole position to secure his signature.
Not to forget, Silva and Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho are represented by the same super agent, Jorge Mendes.
The former Benfica attacker was influential for the French side this season in their title winning campaign. Moreover, he played a pivotal role in helping Monaco reach the last four of the Champions League as well.
As per the provided Le Figaro link, Silva was lured for just a fee over 15 million euros back in 2015. Now, he is rated very highly and United will need to splash a huge sum to sign him.
His current contract with Monaco will expire in 2020 and he is rated (The Sun) around 70 million pounds ($91million).
He is mainly a right winger but can also operate effectively on the left flank and as a central attacking midfielder as well. In 57 appearances (all competitions) this season, Bernardo has so far directly contributed in no fewer than 23 goals (11 goals and 12 assists).
