Liverpool Seriously Ready to Sign "Fantastic" $64.9million Player

Jurgen Klopp needs to sign a solid central defender, who will lead the back line. One such player who has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield is Southampton star Virgil van Dijk. If reports in the media are anything to go bu then Liverpool seriously want to secure his signature in the summer transfer window.

Moreover, Liverpool Echo reported on 9th May that the former Celtic defender is Klopp’s top transfer target.
Now, Telegraph’s Chris Bascombe has stated that Liverpool are ready to spend over 100 million pounds on new signings and £50million ($64.9million) rated Van Dijk is wanted at Anfield.
The 25-year-old center has been top class at the back for the Saints but a foot injury ended his campaign in the month of January. Southampton boss Claude Puel knows all about the qualities of the Netherlands star and wants him to stay. He stated (Star)
