Liverpool will collide against Middlesbrough in their final game of the season at Anfield and a win for the Merseysiders will guarantee them Champions League Football next season.
The Reds have won their last four league games away from home but surprisingly, the recent home record has been poor. Klopp’s men have only earned two points from their last three home games and they must step up big time against Boro.
As far as the transfers are concerned, Liverpool badly need to improve their back line and Klopp is ready to sign not one, but two quality PL stars.
The German boss signed two center halves last summer in the form of Matip and Klavan. Now, he is ready to sign two more this summer.
According to Daily Mail, Liverpool are prepared to sell Sakho and want a fee of around 30 million pounds for the French international. Moreover, Klopp then wants the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Michael Keane to strengthen his defense.
Van Dijk and Keane have a combined worth of 80 million pounds ($103million). The Burnley defender is rated around 30 million pounds (Telegraph) and the Saints star would cost around 50 million pounds (Telegraph)
Earlier this month, we covered a report (via Read Liverpool) claiming that Virgil has agreed to join the Reds if they qualify for the CL. Moreover, Mirror claimed that the Merseysiders are close to sealing a deal for Keane.
Before his injury, Van Dijk was arguably the best central defender in the Premier League this season. Unfortunately, a foot injury ended his campaign in the month of January. On the other hand, Keane has been impressive for the Clarets in the current campaign.
Liverpool have so far conceded 42 league goals in 37 games this season and the stats have to improve for them to have any chance of winning the league next season.

I really don’t see the reason as to why Klop doesn’t go for quality players from Bayern, and Isco is there in RealMadrid. let him doesn’t wast any more time Lyk the way how he did last summer. Liverpool doesn’t need thoz cheap cheap quality less players if they are to compete in champions league. Klop should style up!
Renato Sanches and Isco would be two brilliant buys but we cant argue with Klopp if he doesnt want them. The moneyball method has the upperhand anyway.
By the way even Renato Sanchez is there in Bayern worth 45million!. why should he talk about players from Burnley who knoz Burnley?, and Batrand from Southampton, Go for Daniel Alvez in Juventus!, let’s us also try big names than gambling with this fake transfers.
Bought Mane from Southampton last summer transfer window and that didn’t work out too badly I’d rather put my faith in Klopp and not some keyboard warrior
If Chelsea want Van Dijk then we won’t be getting him anyway that’s for sure . He’s not even kicked a ball this year so how he’s worth £50 mill is beyond me . If he’s worth £15 millish more than Mane then he’s got to be the best defender in the world to ever of lived joint with Stones. It’s highly unlikely to happen but id love to see Sakho back in the team and spend the funds elsewhere in the side .
Liverpool needs to strengthen the back line. But Keane at 30 million pounds is too expensive. Consider marquee signing of players outside PL, example from La Liga, Bundesliga or Serie A instead. At least one centre back and two wing backs are to be added to the squad. Matip, Clyne and Milner are not good enough as first team players , only as substitutes perhaps.
Agree with the person who says get Sakho back, swallow your pride and concentrate with building our team back to its greatness. Van Dijk worth 50 million? Fees are going out of the stratosphere. I am sure we can get as good a player if one looks wisely.
Matip not good enough, are you mental?
Matip and Milner are not good enough humm I wonder what your trying to say …..
I don’t like the idea of buying all those average players that normally cause Liverpool harm,I think we should go for a big players with big quality.
No one is talking about getting a good striker, which would reduce pressure on defence. We need at least two strikers.
