Jose Ready to Get £70million Star Signing Done for Man Utd – Not Bale

Even after spending huge sums on top players last summer, the Red Devils have not been able to perform consistently. In such a scenario, manager Jose Mourinho is seriously looking to strengthen his squad this summer as well.
As far as the attack is concerned, more than a few brilliant players have been linked with a move to Old Trafford. Now, even German international and Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus is in the focus.
According to Don Balon, Atletico Madrid boss, Diego Simeone, is looking replace Carrasco and wants the club to sign Marco Reus from the Bundesliga side this summer.
However, the Spanish source claim that he faces competition from Jose Mourinho, who has requested Manchester United to secure the signing of the 27-year-old attacking midfielder.
Reus is without doubt one of the best playmakers around but his injury record is very concerning. Not to forget, he missed the World Cup 2014 and Euro 2016. Moreover, this season, he has so far missed 16 league games due to injuries.
When fit, Marco can trouble any defense in the world. So far, the former Borussia Monchengladbach star has made 21 appearances (all competitions) in the current campaign and directly contributed in no fewer than 19 goals (11 goals and 8 assists).
