Jurgen Klopp’s men defeated Boro 3-0 at Anfield to book their place in the UEFA Champions League.
The Reds now need top quality players to reinforce their squad this summer but recent reports have suggested (via Mirror) that they are closing in on signing Leicester City attacker Demarai Gray, who has a clause (via Liverpool Echo) of 22 million pounds (€25.5million) in his contract.
The England international has been a bench warmer for the Foxes this season. He started only once in the Champions League and nine times in the Premier League.
Therefore, we expect him to warm the bench at Liverpool as well if he does end up moving to Anfield in the summer transfer window.
The only obvious positive about the 20-year-old star is that he can provide the much needed pace to Jurgen Klopp’s offense but he will probably get the nod to start only if one of the first choice attackers is unavailable.
Demarai can play anywhere in the attacking third but naturally, he is a left winger. Brazilian superstar, Coutinho, is the one who plays on the left hand side of the attack for the Reds and he is irreplaceable. So, we have put forward a line up in which Gray will start when Phil us absent.

This side actually looks weaker without coutihuo, mabye Liverpool should have handed arsenal fourth place, if they are not going to attract top players they will not make it in the champions league.
Congratulation to Liverpool !!!
You are worth to be in the Top Four ranking,!!Now I would like to see the ability of JK to recruit the best Players, as Liverpool is in the Champion League, they have to get a few and good ones to be in the flock. I hope JK will not make the fan clubs to be disappointed. I want to see whether JK means what he says or not.!! Let us wait and see.
Replace coutinho with a back up Leicester player . We will win the league and champions league with that team easy
Don’t be silly, Dillon. For Liverpool to win the league and the Champions League, two conditions must be met. Lucas ‘Anything-but-Samba’ Leiva, the best DM in the world, must be persuaded to remain at Anfield and Jamie Carragher, the Greatest Hoofer the world had the misfortune of witnessing, comes out of retirement.
That team would win nothing. Need to build team around coutinho. By lacazette VVD Jonas hector and kieta then we might win a few things.
Jk, Don’t make same mistake as b.roger did. Buy quality players n instead of gray pls go for D.COSTA from b.munich.
buying Gray makes no sense to me bc he’s inexperience and moreover we’re heading to champions league next season so we need quality signings and not the Gray speculation. i pray and hope its ends only a speculation bc its will be disastrous if we push through with the signings of inexperience players.
