Mourinho Blames these Man Utd Players for Disappointing vs Anderlecht

Manchester United collided against Belgian side Anderlecht in the first leg of their Europa League quarter final last night.
The Red Devils dominated the proceedings but failed to win the contest as it ended 1-1 on the night.
Jose Mourinho’s men did score the crucial away goal but their sloppiness in the attacking third, particularly in the second half, gave Anderlecht the chance to bounce back in the game.
The Old Trafford club have failed to finish teams off and conceded late on many occasions in the current campaign. However, the Portuguese boss did not blame the defense this time around.
The former Chelsea boss was not happy with the attacking performance and stated that the team should have killed the game. Jose blamed attacking players like Lingard, Martial, Zlatan and Rashford for failing to step up.
Jose claimed (The Sun):

“If I was a Manchester United defender I’d be very upset with the attacking players because they have to kill the game and they didn’t.
“Rashford, Lingard, Ibrahimovic, Martial were very similar. You put together the performance of three or four of our attacking players and you don’t squeeze much juice out of it.
“The result should be much better and we can only blame ourselves because we had any easy game to play in the second-half and we didn’t play with instinct in the attack.”

United must now focus on the Premier League again as they face league leaders Chelsea on Sunday. The Blues have already defeated the Red Devils twice. Can Mourinho beat his former side at Old Trafford? We shall see.
As far as the EL is concerned, even after a disappointing display, United have the upper hand and they are considered favorites to oust Anderlecht in the second leg at home.
