Man Utd Want to Close Signing of €35million Italian to Replace Superstar

Manchester United may have to sign a new goalkeeper if first choice star David de Gea departs the club this summer. Real Madrid are constantly linked with a move for the Spanish international.
The former Atletico Madrid star has been Man United’s best player in the past few seasons and Mourinho must hold on to him.
However, reports suggest that the former Los Blancos boss is also preparing for his departure (Marca) and the Red Devils are looking to sign Italian international and AC Milan goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma.
According to Spanish source Don Balon, Manchester United want to close the signing of the 18-year-old goal keeper and that will open the door for De Gea to move to the Bernabeu.
The teenage starlet is represented by Mino Raiola, who is also the agent of Man United stars like Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan and record signing Paul Pogba.
Last season, the youngster kept 11 clean sheets in 30 league games for AC Milan. This season, he has so far kept 11 clean sheets in 33 Serie A outings for the Rossoneri.
Donnarumma is the future of Italian football. He made his senior international debut last year and looks all set to replace Buffon when the legendary goalie retires from the Azzurri duty.
His current contract with the seven time European Champions will expire at the end of the next campaign and he is already rated very highly at €35million as per CIES Football Observatory.
Milan are offering a new deal that will make him earn 3 million pounds a year but Raiola is looking to get a huge pay rise for Gianluigu, who is also wanted by Manchester City and Real Madrid (Daily Mail via La Gazzetta Dello Sport).
