Yesterday, we covered a report (via Mirror) claiming that the Red Devils are closing in on a deal to sign Italian international and Torino star Andrea Belotti, who has a release clause of 84 million pounds (€98million) in his contract.
Jose Mourinho has mainly utilized the lone striker formation over the years and we can expect Belotti to be the main main in the manager’s system i.e. if he does end up moving to Man United.
Andrea can also play effectively on the flanks but his performances for the Serie A side this season have confirmed that he is a proper out and out center forward.
The 23-year-old Serie A striker has netted 25 league goals in 30 games in the current campaign and has the quality to be a hit at Old Trafford.
The former Chelsea boss needs to sign a new defensive midfielder, a fullback and a top attacker as well to reinforce his team in the summer transfer window.
