Done – Liverpool have Agreed Key $32million Deal

Liverpool need to sort out their back line by signing top players this summer or they can forget about challenging for the Premier League title next season.
They are the leading goalscorers in the league but due to theishaky defense, they are only fighting to finish in the top four.
Jurgen Klopp badly needs a world class center half to lead the back line next season and Dejan Lovren surely isn’t one.
The Croatian international has been inconsistent in the defense all season long but still, he has been awarded a new contract (Mirror) worth 25 million pounds ($32million).
Lovren will now be earning £100,000-a-week with the Merseysiders and after signing the new deal he told Liverpoolfc.com

“I think this is one special day for me and my family.”
“I think I am the happiest guy [in the world] today, it’s another dream come true. It was always my dream to stay as long as possible at one club that I love – and that is Liverpool.”

In 25 league appearances for the Reds in the current campaign, Lovren has only helped the team keep 7 clean sheets. Not to forget, he was absolutely terrible in the last league game against Crystal Palace.
Overall in 29 games (all competitions), the former Southampton star has scored two goals and provided an assist as well.

It is not solely Lovren or any lfc defender’s responsibility to make the team keep clean sheet, not even the goal keeper. It is the midfielders’ responsibilities to attempt and effect that. The lfc setup is the ball playing and not a defensive type. If I am the coach here, my best defenders would be great attackers with footballing intuition right from wings to the midfield. After all, ‘the best form of defence is in effective attack’. I would not waste my money on the likes of expensive Van D. As good as he is hyped up to be, where is southampton in the league standing? Take a look at lfc, if not for the injury concerns, we would have won this league this season long before now with our present defenders. We need players who can press and wreck havoc and score all kinds of goals against any kind of defence. This madness of going to spend £50 million on a defender must not be allowed to succeed. Spend that amount instead on strikers, midfielders and wingers and the sky will be our limit next season.

I think most Liverpool players low performance came from low monthly salary of LFC. After Lallana, Cotinhuo and Lovren bad performance, LFC increase their salary. Do anyone notice that?
