Liverpool are in a decent position to qualify for the Champions League and they need to sign proven quality stars in the summer transfer window to challenge the best of teams in the continent.
Apart from signing proven stars, the Reds are also focused on adding young talented starlets to the team.
Under the management of Jurgen Klopp, numerous youngsters have been handed the chance to shine for Liverpool’s first team. The likes of Ojo, Ejaria, Alexander-Arnold and Ben Woodburn have impressed the German boss.
Therefore, we can expect other starlets to get their opportunities with the Anfield club as well. Recently, the Merseysiders have signed a professional contract with young defensive midfielder Liam Coyle (Official).
The 17-year-old English player is the captain of Liverpool’s U-18 team and has earned a deal with consistent performances. The teenage boy has been at Liverpool since he was 10 and he dreams of playing for the first team and the Champions League.
He stated (Official):
“To play for Liverpool’s first team and to play in the Champions League for the club.”
Liam can be utilized in the central midfield but he is mainly a play breaker who likes playing in front of the back four.
The Reds badly need a strong defensive midfielder in their squad and will hope that one day, Coyle will be able to serve the first team as a regular starter in that position.
