Arsenal Look to Agree €40million Star Signing

Last night, Arsenal suffered another shocking defeat in the Premier League, this time at hands of Crystal Palace and now, the Gunners are sixth in the table.
Negativity is surrounding the club at the moment, hence, the North Londoners need more than a miracle to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Arsene Wenger refused to discuss his future after the humiliating defeat against the Eagles. Nevertheless, Arsenal need top signings if they are to bounce back big time next season.
According to reports (Daily Star via Rai Sport), Arsenal are interested in hiring the services of Ivorian international and Atlanta star Franck Kessie (as confirmed by his agent).
The Italian club side looking to get around 34 million pounds (€40million) for the African star, who has been in top form this season (Daily Star).
The question is, do Arsenal really need him?
Last summer, Arsene Wenger splashed huge cash to hire the services of Swiss international Granit Xhaka from German Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach. Xhaka has had a few disciplinary concerns but overall he is a quality DM.
The North Londoners also have another top holding midfielder in the form of Francis Coquelin. In addition, Elneny can be utilized in that position as well. Therefore, Arsenal must forget about signing Kessie and must look to sign a top defender and a striker.
