£250,000-a-week Star Ready to Agree Man Utd Deal – Jose Wants him Here

Zlatan Ibrahimovic left Paris Saint-Germain last summer to join Manchester United on a free transfer. Since his move to England, the retired Swedish international has been sensational for the Red Devils.
The 35-year-old center forward is still one of the best goalscorers in the world and has already helped United win a silverware in the form of EFL Cup.
In 38 appearances, the veteran striker has netted 26 goals and also provided 7 assists for the Old Trafford club this season.
The (Daily Star) £250,000-a-week star does have an option in his contract to stay with Manchester United for another season. However, the latest reports indicate that Zlatan wants to be at the club for the next two years.
The former Barcelona star is hoping to agree a deal with Man United that will extend his stay until 2019. After brilliant performances, Ibra surely deserves a new deal and Jose wants him to stay as well (ESPN)
In your opinion, should United hand Zlatan a two year deal or sign a long term replacement?

Ibra is a great asset for the club and the fans at large. He is an inspirational to young players like Martial, Rashford just to mention a few. He is well disciplined on and off the pitch. For me personally as a Man united supporter from Zambia, I don’t see why an extension to his contract can’t come to fruition. Ibra has proved to be a comitted producer of results even at 35. In conclusion, the Board and Executive Vice Chair Edwoodward should extend his contract. He is a massive asset to the club and he really brings alot of joy to me especially that I’m disabled, no wonder I always ensure that I watch all the games involving man united. Glory to man united family.

As s policy Utd only offer over 30’s a one year rolling contract. My issue is that IBRA dies not like being subbed or benched and won’t allow for another striker to enter the scene, meaning that Utd depend entirely on him. At his age, he coujd suddenly lose his form, and without a top backup, Utd will struggle.
