Since the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham Hotspur have rapidly progressed and are favorites to finish above Arsenal this season.
The North Londoners agreed key deals with star players like Eriksen, Rose, Lloris and Kane etc. but it looks likely that Danny will leave the club in the summer transfer window.
Earlier this month, Mirror reported that Manchester City are interested in signing the highly rated left back and Tottenham are eyeing the signing of Man United star Luke Shaw (earns $100,000-a-week) to replace Rose.
Now, according to the latest update provided by Mirror, Pep Guardiola is confident of luring Rose for a fee of 50 million pounds and by making an offer that he will not be able to refuse. On the other hand, Shaw is set to secure a move to Spurs.
The former Saints star is the fourth choice left back under Mourinho. He has only made 8 league appearances for the Red Devils this season and on most occasions, Jose has opted not to include him in the match squad. The former Chelsea boss recently claimed (Independent):
“I think the one that should be the best of all (left backs) in a couple of years – because potentially he should have all the conditions to be the best – is Luke Shaw.”
Shaw was brilliant under the management of Pochettino, when the Argentine manager was in charge of Southampton. Luke’s performances for the Saints earned him a move to Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old star has the potential to shine but in the recent years, he has been injury prone. In your opinion, is Shaw good enough to replace Rose?
