Mauricio Pochettino has done wonders at White Hart Lane since joining Tottenham from Southampton. The Argentine boss will be hoping to finish the season with a trophy this time around and Spurs have a great chance of winning the FA Cup.
As far as the next season is concerned, the North Londoners must look to improve their form in Europe.
They were ousted from the Champions League in the group stages and fell at the first hurdle in the Europa League as well. In such a scenario, Pochettino needs to strengthen his squad and reports suggest that he is already planning for summer arrivals.
Back in 2015, Spurs were linked with a move to sign Croatian international Marcelo Brozovic. They were even interested in luring him (on loan) in the recent winter transfer window (Mirror)
Now, according to Italian source Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham have moved in again for the Inter Milan star and are ready to agree his signing with an offer of 25 million euros. ($27million).
The 24-year-old midfielder is one of the key members of the Inter squad and has a contract with the club until 2021. Therefore, it will not come as any surprise if the Nerazzurri demand more than 25 million euros for their prized asset.
Marcelo can play anywhere in the midfield. Inter have effectively used him as a DM/CM and also as an AM. This season, in 21 appearances for the Serie A side, Brozovic has netted 5 goals and also provided 4 assists.
Spurs do need more depth in the midfield department and Brozovic could be the perfect addition.

Honestly I don’t wanna see him in our team.
