Man Utd Eyeing €59million Star For Midfield

Jose Mourinho always had at least one solid defensive midfielder in his teams over the years but he lacks one at Manchester United.
The Portuguese boss managed the likes of Makelele, Essien and Matic during his time with Chelsea. He had Cambiasso when he managed Inter Milan and had the likes of Diarra and Khedira when he was in charge of Real Madrid.
The former Blues boss sold Morgan Schneiderlin to Everton in the winter window and now needs a new DM in the team.
Recently we covered a report (via Diario Gol) claiming that Mou is looking to sign Toni Kroos. Moreover, in January and also in the last month, Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko was linked with the Old Trafford club.
Now, a new name is in the lime light in the form of Portuguese international and Porto star Danilo Pereira.
According to A Bola, Manchester United representatives recently traveled to Portugal to monitor the performance of Danilo for the Primeira Liga giants. Even Liverpool are interested in the 25-year-old defensive midfielder, who has a release clause of €59million in his contract (Daily Star).
The Red Devils already have creative midfield stars like Ander Herrera and record signing Paul Pogba. Therefore, they do not really need someone like Kroos.
Jose needs a play breaker and must splash the cash to lure either Bakayoko or Danilo in the summer transfer window.
