The Premier League returns this weekend with Liverpool taking on rivals Everton at Anfield in tomorrow’s first game.
Currently, the Toffees are six point behind the Reds and will be looking to close the gap with a win. Both teams have won three, drawn one and lost one in their last five league games. Who will come out on top?
As far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, Sturridge returned to training but Jordan Henderson (Express) was missing and the skipper is not going to take part against Everton. Moreover, Adam Lallana recently suffered a thigh injury, which means that Klopp may have to make a major change to strengthen his midfield.
The German boss has mainly used James Milner in the left back role but he should utilize the retired England international in the midfield (his natural position) tomorrow.
The former Man City star may start with Can and Wijnaldum in the center of the park. In such a scenario, Alberto Moreno may get the nod to start in the LB position. The Spaniard has only started two league games this season.
Dejan Lovren will probably return to the starting lineup as well. He should replace Klavan and partner Matip in the central defense.
