Liverpool Will Move in to Get €42.9million Playmaker Signing Done

Liverpool are looking at options to improve their squad this summer. As far as the attacking midfield is concerned, a few German players are in the limelight.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Goal) claiming that Klopp could hand Gotze the chance to revive his career at Anfield. Mario was top class with Jurgen in charge of Dortmund but his form has been average for over a year now.
Moreover, he is recovering from a metabolic disorder. The likes of Sturridge and Ings have been injury prone for the Reds and Klopp must sign a completely fit player now.
Back in the January transfer window, Julian Brandt was heavily linked with a move to Anfield but in the end, he stayed with Bayer Leverkusen.
Now, Liverpool Echo’s James Pearce has recently claimed in an exclusive interview with Anfield Edition that Klopp is a huge admirer of the 20-year-old playmaker and Liverpool will move in to sign him this summer. He stated:

“Klopp rates Brandt very highly and Liverpool will certainly go all out to get him this summer.”

Julian BrandtThe former Wolfsburg youth player has a release clause worth £17million in his contract, which could be activated in 2018 (Liverpool Echo) but his current value is around €42.9million as per Football Observatory (CIES).
Julian can effectively play on either flank and also as a secondary striker. This season, in 29 games for the Bundesliga side (all competitions), Brandt has netted 3 goals and also provided 6 assists.
In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Gotze or Brandt?
