Not James – Positive Update for Liverpool to Agree £52m Star Signing – Klopp Keen

Liverpool must strengthen their defense to challenge the best of teams next season. The Reds have proved to be brilliant up front but without a solid back line, Klopp can forget about winning any title.
Recent reports have suggested that the Merseysiders are linked with Greek international and Roma defender Kostas Manolas.
Earlier this month, Mirror claimed that Klopp’s scout were impressed by the performances of the center half and Liverpool are keen on securing his signature this summer.
The latest update is positive for the Reds as the Serie A side are prepared to sell their prized asset to a foreign club in the summer transfer window. The likes of Man United and Chelsea are also interested in signing the 25-year-old defender (CalcioMercato)
The former Olympiacos star is one of the best central defenders around and Liverpool must sign him to solve their defensive conundrum.
Brilliant tackler and strong in the air, Manolas knows how to command the back line and he is the leader that Klopp needs. This season, he has featured in 35 games for the Giallorossi.
Manolas’ current contract with Roma will expire in 2019 and the Italian giants rate him around £52million (The Sun). Not to forget, Liverpool are also interested in another top defender in the form of Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk.
In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Manolas or Van Dijk?

  2. Everton will decide the fate of Liverpool on this coming Saturday, whether to survive in the TOP FOUR or not. .Lallana and the Captain are not in the position to play at all, due to injury. Then a few positions will be changed in the first team XI. Milner might come as the Mid-field to replace Henderson, while Moreno comes in for Milner’ s position. We might use the service of Can again in the Mid-field position. Anyhow, Liverpool must win this match in order to survive in the TOP FOUR.
