Tottenham need quality reinforcements in the summer transfer window and one of their top targets is Everton star Ross Barkley.
Earlier in the day, we covered a report (via Daily Mail) claiming that the North Londoners are front runners to hire the services of the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who is rated around 35 million pounds (via ES).
Spurs splashed the cash to sign Sissoko last summer but the French international has so far filed to shine at White Hart Lane. It will not be shocking if Moussa is sold this summer and Barkley could be the perfect man to replace the former Magpies star.
The Toffees have mainly utilized Barkley in the central attacking midfield role, behind main man Romelu Lukaku. He can play effectively on both flanks and also in the central midfield as well.
For Spurs, the CAM position is mainly covered by Dele Alli. The 20-year-old England international and Eriksen are absolutely irreplaceable in Pochettino’s system.
Therefore, if Ross does end up moving to Tottenham, he may start on the right hand side of the attack in a 4-2-3-1 system or in the central midfield in a 3-4-3 system
Here is how Tottenham will line up with Ross Barkley.
