Liverpool are interested in reinforcing their midfield department this summer and more than a few stars are currently linked with the Anfield club.
Besiktas’ versatile midfielder Anderson Talisca is one of the names in the limelight and manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing him (via Turkish source).
However, Liverpool should look to sign a complete midfielder, someone who can operate in the defensive midfield, central midfield and also in the attacking midfield. Man City superstar Yaya Toure completely fits the bill.
The Ivorian legend is 33 but still has got a lot to offer and can prove to be a brilliant signing for the Reds. A free transfer for such a quality player makes complete sense.
Recently, Yaya’s agent has confirmed (Star via Sky) that the former Barcelona star will be leaving Man City this summer and would consider joining the likes of Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal.
The African star currently earns £190,000-a-week (Daily Star) and his contract will expire at the end of the current campaign.
This season, he has featured in 21 games for the Sky Blues, scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists. In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Yaya Toure?

Nooo! He doesnt fit the bill in any sense. Yes he can finish and provide (if someone finds him in space and passes it to him). Jurgen klopp plays a style of football to which a player like yaya wont be able to play! Hes way to lazy and as for defensive hes as poor as it gets. Maybe 2 seasons ago but hes past it now and doesnt have the legs for high pressure tactics.
