Conte Ready to Get $23million Star Signing Done for Chelsea

Arsenal and Chelsea will go head to head to hire the services of Manchester United star Jesse Lingard in the summer transfer window.
The Blues already have world class players in their attacking midfield but Antonio Conte is looking for more depth and the Italian boss is keen on securing the signature of Lingard (The Sun).
The Red Devils have an overcrowded attack but they want to keep the 24-year-old star and are going to hold talks with him over a new deal this week. Even Spurs are interested in luring the talented attacker (via Mirror).
Lingard is the man for the big games. He helped United win the FA Cup last season by scoring the decisive goal in the Final. He was again on target as the Old Trafford club defeated Southampton in the EFL Cup Final last month.
Jesse’s contract will expire in 2018 and he is currently rated around 21.3 million euros ($23million) as per CIES Football Observatory.
He can play anywhere in the attacking third and needs regular football to progress. This season, Lingard has only started 15 league games for the Red Devils and directly contributed in 7 goals.
Even if he moves to Chelsea, he will most likely start behind stars like Hazard, Pedro and Willian. Therefore, signing for the Stamford Bridge club may not be such a good idea for him. For Conte, Lingard could be the perfect man to make an impact from the Bench.
In your opinion, should Conte sign Jesse Lingard?
