Offer Certain – Liverpool Expected to Get $7.9million-a-year Deal Done

Liverpool need to sign new stars this month but it seems that they are more focused on agreeing new deals with their current crop of key players.
Yesterday, Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho secured a long term deal that will keep him at Anfield until 2022.
Moreover, reports indicate that after Coutinho, the Merseysiders are ready to get two more deals done by agreeing contracts with Lallana and Lovren.
Two days back, James Pearce claimed that Liverpool will certainly offer new deals to Adam and Dejan. Adding to that, Pearce reiterated in a report yesterday (Liverpool Echo) that the duo will be offered extensions.
The Reds have been shaky at the back and the Croatian central defender has never been as good for Liverpool as he was for Southampton. However, Klopp likes him so he is going to get a new deal. In all fairness, he does not deserve one.
On the other hand, Adam Lallana has been in the form of his life this season. In 20 league appearances, the England international has directly contributed in no fewer than 14 goals (7 goals and 7 assists). He surely deserves to get a bumper fresh contract.
Echo have not mentioned any terms of the contract that Liverpool want to agree with the former Saints attacker. However, earlier this month, Express claimed in an exclusive report that the Reds are looking to double Lallana’s wages and make him earn £120,000-a-week, £6.24million-a-year ($7.9million-a-year).
