Mourinho Wants Man Utd to Agree "Fantastic" $85,000-a-week Stars Signing

Tottenham had the best defense in the Premier League last season (along-with Manchester United). This season, they have the best defensive record so far. After 20 league games, Spurs have only conceded 14 goals, one fewer than league leaders Chelsea.
The North Londoners have arguably got the best back four in the country and fullbacks Kyle Walker and Danny Rose have been really impressive this season.
If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then both Manchester clubs are looking to sign the above mentioned English defenders. Mourinho wants Manchester United to make a stunning move of 60 million pounds to sign them (The Sun).
The duo are not only solid at the back but also very productive in the attacking third.
Walker has provided 4 assists in 19 league appearances this season. On the other hand, Rose has scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists in 18 games (all competitions).
Recently, star attacker Dele Alli heavily praised Walker and Rose after Tottenham’s win against Burnley. Alli stated: (THFC)

“They are two fantastic players and it’s a joy to play with them,”
“They provide such pace and power down the flank and they defend so well as well, and that’s so important.”

As per the provided Sun link, earlier in the season, the duo signed new deals worth £70,000-a-week ($85,000-a-week). Chairman Levy would not like to lose them next summer but might be willing to sell one if a big money offer arrives.
Not to forget, Spurs are above Man City and Man United in the league at the moment. However, both Manchester clubs surely have the financial power to double their wages.

Defenders are solid for united (3/4). Better to sell off a couple of midfielders and get Verratti…
