Terms & No. Verbally Agreed – Man Utd Set to Finally Sign £87million Star

Manchester United have been interested in signing Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann for a long time now and reports are very positive for the United faithful.
According to the latest update provided by Independent, the Red Devils are increasingly confident that they will finally sign the French international next summer who has a release clause of 100 million euros (£87million) in his contract.
Griezmann was in world class form last season, he scored 32 goals and provided 7 assists in 54 games for the La Liga side. This season, the Les Bleus attacker has already netted 12 goals and provided 6 assists in 25 fixtures.
The former Real Sociedad star can play anywhere in the attacking third and will largely amplify the quality of Man United’s attack.
As per the provided Independent link, the principles of any prospective deal have already been verbally agreed, including weekly wage and prospective shirt number.
Earlier this month, we covered a report (via The Sun) claiming that the Old Trafford club have offered Griezmann a deal that will make him earn what £220,000-a-week, the exact salary that Paul Pogba earns.
Perhaps United have agreed the above mentioned salary with the 25-year-old star.
On the other hand, Griezmann wears the No.7 shirt for Atletico and France. Depay wears the No.7 for United but he is unwanted at Old Trafford and linked with a move to Lyon (Mirror). Hence, we can expect Antoine to wear the iconic number once he joins Man United.
