Manchester United are currently linked with more than a few top quality attacking players. The question is, will they sign one in the winter transfer window?
Three Atletico Madrid superstars have been in the limelight in the form of Antoine Griezmann, Yannick Carrasco and Saul Niguez.
If reports in the Italian media are anything to go by then United have also moved in with an offer to sign French international M’Baye Niang.
Il Giornale have reported that many Serie A stars are attracting interest from England and China and one of them is 22-year-old Niang who currently plays for seven time European Champions AC Milan.
The former Montpellier attacker is mainly a left winger. This season, he has featured in 15 league games for the Rossoneri and directly contributed in 6 goals (3 goals and 3 assists).
As per the provided Il Giornale link, Niang has been in decent form for Milan and an offer from Manchester United has arrived for him.
The Italian source have not mentioned any fee that Man United may have offered for the Leus Bleus attacker who has not played a senior game for the national side as yet.
Back in November 2016, CalcioMercato reported that Milan are finding it hard to sign a new deal with Niang and the likes of Arsenal, Dortmund and Monaco want him.
United must look to sign world class stars to improve their squad and M’Baye surely does not fit the bill at the moment.
