Manchester United want to sign a top quality central defender this month and it seems that their focus is now shifting from Victor Lindelof to Kostas Manolas.
Few days back, we covered a report (via the Sun) claiming that Mourinho has moved in with an offer of 32.5 million pounds to sign the highly rated 25-year-old Greek international.
Now, as per the latest update provided by The Sun, the former Chelsea boss is determined to sign the highly rated center half and will move once again with an offer of 47.6 million pounds ($58million) to seal the signing.
Kostas is one of the best defenders in the Italian league and Roma do not want to lose him. The Giallorossi let go star midfielder Miralem Pjanic to Juventus last summer and will surely not want to lose more key players.
As per the provided Sun link, the Serie A side are expected to reject the offer and demand 52 million pounds for their prized asset.
The former Olympiacos star has featured in 21 games in all competitions for Roma this season and scored one goal.
