Man Utd Have to Agree €45million Star Signing – Not Lindelof

Victor Lindelof BenficaManchester United are interested in signing Victor Lindelof in the winter transfer window. Well that is not a mystery anymore.
Recent reports in the Portuguese media have suggested that the 22-year-old Swedish international will complete his move to Old Trafford.
However, in all fairness United do not really need to sign Lindelof. They actually need a new right back and Lindelof’s team mate Semedo will be the perfect signing.
As far as central defense is concerned, Rojo and Jones have performed brilliantly under the management of Mourinho. Moreover, the likes of Smalling and Bailly are there as well and even Blind can play in the central defense. Therefore, signing another center half makes little sense.
As far as the right back position is concerned, veteran Valencia is the first choice for United at the moment. He is not getting any younger and United do not have a qualityplayer to provide cover as well. Darmian has only been able to perform well as a left back this season and he has not been consistent.
In such a scenario, Man United have to splash the cash and agree the signing of Semedo this month. The 23-year-old star has got a release clause of €45million (SW via O Jogo) in his contract and will surely not come for cheap.
The Portuguese international has been in top form for the Primeira Liga giants this season. In 25 appearances, Semedo has scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists for Benfica.
In your opinion, should Man Utd sign Lindelof or Semedo?

since victor Lindelof is versatile and can play both CD & RB, I think he deserve the nod than Nelsson Semedor who is a natural RB, although he has netted two goal and four assist, he does not deserved. Victor succeed Valentia, smalling can be sold out to any bidder because he always put fear and panic to himself
