Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino knows all about the qualities of Adam Lallana. The two were together at Southampton and now the Argentine boss is looking to bring him to White Hart Lane.
According to reports, Spurs plan to make a shock move for Lallana before the transfer window closes and even PSG are interested in signing him. However, Liverpool are ready to give him a huge pay rise to ensure he stays at Anfield (Express).
The England international was signed by the Reds when Brendan Rodgers was in charge of the club. However, he has started to excel and hit peak under the management of Jurgen Klopp.
This season, the 28-year-old attacker has been in fantastic form for Liverpool. In 18 league appearances, the former Saints star has directly contributed in no fewer than 14 goals (7 goals and 7 assists).
As per the provided Express link, Lallana currently earns £60,000-a-week and the five time European Champions are set to offer him a fresh contract that will make him earn £120,000-a-week, £6.24million-a-year ($7.6million-a-year).
Adam surely deserves a new deal after his brilliant performances and Liverpool will have a strong chance of winning the title if he continues to perform this well all season.

This is well deserved yes and next up should be Coutinho coz at £70k, this is a disaster waiting to happen.
He loves it at Anfield, and keeps telling us he wants to stay, so why on Earth should we be worried when lowly Spurs suggest they want him? Lallana could be a very special player for us in a period of great excitement at the club so the thought that he’d want to leave is preposterous.
