Done – Liverpool Agree Deal With "Exceptional Talent" Who Earned £520,000-a-year

It seems that Liverpool will not be signing a new star before the transfer window closes but they have agreed new deals with two of their current players.
Few days back, the Reds sealed a new five year deal with Brazilian superstar Philippe Coutinho.
Yesterday, the Merseysiders confirmed (LFC) that they heave secured another five year deal, this time with England international Joe Gomez. The deal will come into effect from July 1, 2017. His previous contract (Star) was worth £10,000-a-week, £520,000-a-year.
After impressive displays in his debut season with Charlton, the teenage defender signed for Liverpool when Brendan Rodgers was in charge of the club.
He immediately replaced Moreno to occupy the left back spot and impressed as well. However, a major injury ruined things for him.
The youngster has recently returned for the Reds and has featured in 2 FA Cup games against Plymouth. Klopp highly rates a versatile player like him, who can play anywhere in the back line. The German boss stated:

“I am really excited about this news because of the incredible potential Joe has – and now we know he will be fulfilling it with us at LFC.”

Former Liverpool defender Babb is a also a big fan of Joe and recently claimed (LFC):

“Joe Gomez is an exceptional talent, there is no doubt about that,”

At the moment, Liverpool have players like Lovren, Klavan, Matip and Lucas, who are being utilized in the central defense by Klopp. Therefore, Gomez will have to work really hard to become a regular starter at Anfield.
