Liverpool are in the market to sign a quality attacking midfielder knowing that Sadio Mane will be leaving for the African Cup of Nations.
The Reds have been looking to sign Dortmund star Christian Pulisic (via Daily Mail) for quite some time but the German Bundesliga side do not want to sell their prized asset.
If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then once again Swedish international Emil Forsberg is in the limelight.
Back in January 2016, Klopp wanted to lure the RB Leipzig star, however, the move did not happen (Mirror via Bild).
Now, Mirror are reporting that after failing to lure Pulisic, the Merseysiders are looking to finally hire the services of the 25-year-old attacker in this winter transfer window to reinforce their offense.
In another report, Mirror have claimed that Liverpool are actually leading the chase to sign the £20million ($25million) rated winger.
The former Malmo attacker mainly plays on the left wing and this season he has performed brilliantly for Leipzig who are currently second in the league, three points behind reigning champions Bayern Munich.
In 15 league appearances for the club, Emil has directly contributed in no fewer than 14 goals (5 goals and 9 assists) in the current campaign.

Fifteen games isn’t much to base an opinion on and it worries me that United are targeting Griezeman whilst we ponce about on the cheaper end of the market. We should be after Griezeman! Why let United reduce the gap between us when we could widen it?
