Liverpool need an attacking player this month and Spanish international Jese Rodriguez is one of the players linked.
The former Real Madrid has never been preferred by PSG boss Unai Emery since completing his move in the summer transfer window and he is already looking set to leave.
The Reds are interested (Mail) in luring him and now former Liverpool star Steve Nicol has claimed that there is a possibility that Liverpool will sign the 23-year-old attacker (Daily Star via ESPN).
“I think this is possible.”
“Klopp has already said that he is interested in added some more attacking wide players, so why not Jese”
Currently, the Spaniard earns €3million-a-season, €57,600-a-week ($61,000-a-week)(ESPN) with the reigning French champions.
Capable of playing anywhere up front, Jese will largely improve Liverpool’s attack. If he ends up moving to Anfield then Klopp can utilize him on either flank and even as an out and out center forward if needed.
The German manager has mainly preferred the 4-3-3 formation in which Coutinho (when fit) plays on the left hand side of the attack and Firmino plays as the false No.9. Therefore, Jese, if he joins, will most likely start on the right in the absence of Sadio Mane.
Sign quincy promes now before anyone else does
Solution to our attacking problems….?
Either Jesse or Quincy will be okay. A replacement for Lovren is needed. Virgil Van Dyke will form a solid partnership with Matip. Lovren and Klavan can then be backups. Lovren isn’t good enough for first team.
Jesse or Quincy plus Van Dyke , then title is sure.
