Tottenham seem seriously interested in signing Portuguese international and Galatasaray attacker Bruma.
According to Turkish source Fotomac, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ready to sign the 22-year-old playmaker and has deployed former player Brad Friedel to seal the deal. Friedel is supposed to travel to Istanbul and make an official offer for the player.
Earlier this month, Sport Witness reported (via Turkish media) that the former Sporting CP attacker wants to sign for Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
Bruma is a quality winger who can effectively play on either flank. This season, he has been one of the best players for the Turkish giants.
He has made 20 appearances in all competitions, scored 5 goals and also provided 5 assists in the current campaign.
As per the provided Fotomac link, after Bruma decided not to sign a new contract, Gala have been in negotiations with the North Londoners and their asking price will not go down from 20 million euros ($21million).
Eriksen and Alli have been in top form this season and are always going to start if fit. The likes of Son and Sissoko have been inconsistent and Bruma will probably start ahead of them if he moves to White Hart Lane. Not to forget, Erik Lamela is still out injured.
