Liverpool have been interested in signing Dutch international Quincy Promes for some time now and the latest reports are positive much to the delight of the Anfield faithful.
According to Mirror, Jurgen Klopp wants the Spartak Moscow playmaker, Liverpool will move in and press ahead to secure his signature this month.
Sadio Mane has been brilliant for the Reds since moving from Southampton last summer. He left for the African Cup of Nations and Klopp wants Promes to hit the ground running to replace the Senegalese international.
The 25-year-old attacker can play on either flank and also as an out and out center forward if needed. He has been Spartak’s top goalscorer in two of the past three seasons. Moreover, he has been in fantastic form this season as well.
The former FC Twente player has featured in 17 games in all competitions for the Russian side and directly contributed in no fewer than 13 goals in the current campaign (6 goals and 7 assists).
As per the provided Mirror link, other PL clubs have started to show interest as well and Spartak Moscow want around 25 million pounds ($31million) for their star playmaker.
The Merseysiders should not hold back and must splash the cash to hire his services in the January transfer window if they are to win the PL title this season.
