Manchester United are on a brilliant winning run and it will be intriguing to see if they can extend that streak when they face arch rivals Liverpool.
The Red Devils are linked with top players in the winter transfer window as Mourinho looks to improve his squad.
Moreover, the Portuguese boss also wants to hold onto his key players and perhaps Belgian international Marouane Fellaini is one of them.
The former Everton midfielder started the season poorly and was even criticized by the United faithful, however, Mourinho opted to stick with the 29-year-old star and he has improved.
The Old Trafford club lured Fellaini on a four year deal with the option of a further year when David Moyes was in charge of the club. The former Standard Liege star currently earns (Star) £80,000-a-week ($100,000-a-week) and now Manchester United have activated the clause and agreed his extension for one more year.
Marouane has featured in 21 games for the Red Devils this season and scored only one goal. In your opinion, did Fellaini deserve the extension?
