Liverpool have played poor football this month and have been knocked out of two cup competitions as well.
However, the Premier League teams should not take the Reds lightly. Why? Because the Merseysiders are about to have their best XI once again and they have the ability to absolutely rip defenses apart.
Back in November 2016, Liverpool thrashed Watford 6-1 at Anfield and moved to the top of the table. That was the last game in which Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana started for the Reds.
Their next PL game was against the Saints and Lallana was absent due to the injury he suffered on international duty. After that, Klopp’s men faced Sunderland and Coutinho suffered a long term ankle injury.
The Brazilian international recently returned to the first team this month but before his recovery, Sadio Mane had departed for the African Cup of Nations.
Now, the former Southampton star is set to return to Liverpool after Senegal lost their quarter final vs Cameroon. Sadio might not start but he is expected to be back (Telegraph) in time for the game against Chelsea.
Klopp will hope that Liverpool can now complete the entire campaign without any injury concerns so that he can deploy his best XI (provided below).

Yes, our best CURRENT team but it still frightens me that any team containing Mignolet, Lovren, Henderson and Wijnaldum can ever be called our BEST team! Good grief! In days gone by those four wouldn’t have been allowed to sell programmes, let alone don the shirt.
The restructuring, hopefully, still has a long way to go . . .
