Liverpool are interested in more than a few playmakers this month and once again Lazio attacker Keita Balde is on the radar.
Back in 2015, the Reds were interested in signing the Senegalese international but the move did not happen (via Talksport).
Now, a renowned Italian source is claiming that the Merseysiders are once again looking at the 21-year-old winger who has been in top form for the Serie A side this season.
We recently covered a report via Corriere dello Sport claiming that Jurgen Klopp has sent an observer to the AFCON and Liverpool are ready to spend around 40 million euros to sign Franck Kessie of Atlanta.
As per the provided Corriere dello Sport link, Keita has not signed a new deal yet, his current contract will expire in 2018 and he is the second name on the notebook of Liverpool.
Klopp secured the signing of a top Senegalese playmaker last summer in the form of Mane and the former Saints attacker has been brilliant for Liverpool. Sadio’s presence at Anfield may help the Reds in securing the signing of his team mate.
This season, Lazio have utilized Balde on the left flank and also as a secondary striker. In 11 starts for the Italian club, he has directly contributed in 8 goals (5 goals and 3 assists).
