Pochettino Ready to Get $42million Star Signing Done for Spurs

Tottenham adequately reinforced their squad in the summer transfer window but apart from Wanyama, the new signings have failed to impress.
Pochettino needed to sign a cover striker for Harry Kane and Dutch international Vincent Janssen arrived at White Hart Lane.
The 22-year-old striker topped the goal-scoring charts in the Eredivisie last season with 27 goals for AZ Alkmaar but he has been poor for the North Londoners since completing his move.
In 13 league appearances, Janssen has only scored one goal for the club. In the absence of Harry Kane, Spurs have suffered a lot in the last two months. They are already out of the Champions League and 5th in the league.
In such a scenario, reports (Mirror) suggest that Pochettino is lining up potential targets ahead of the transfer window re-opening next month and Spurs are polotting a move to sign former Red Devil Javier Hernandez.
The Mexican center forward directly contributed in 31 goals in 43 appearances last season for Bayer Leverkusen. This season, he has directly contributed in 9 goals in 20 games.
As per the provided Mirror link, the likes of Liverpool and Valencia are also interested in signing the 28-year-old star and the Spanish side are even ready to meet his release clause of 33.5 million pounds ($42million).

We should have signed him from Utd.

How should we have signed him from United if they made it 100% clear they wouldn’t sell to us.
You can’t just treat things like that as failures by the club! United wouldn’t sell him to us, they wouldn’t sell Schneiderlin to us this summer. It would have been better if we could have signed him/them directly from the Mancs, but we couldn’t exactly kidnap. United got away with it with Berbatov, we wouldn’t!
