Not Lindelof – $100,000-a-week Star Agrees Man Utd Deal

Victor Lindelof BenficaManchester United are heavily linked to complete the signing of Victor Lindelof from Benfica in the upcoming January transfer window.
Reports suggest that the Red Devils have agreed terms of contract that will make the Swedish international earn €17.5million in five years (via SW).
The Red Devils badly need to reinforce their back line and Lindelof will be a brilliant signing. More importantly, Mourinho needs to hold onto his star players as well and Antonio Valencia is one of them.
The Ecuadorian star won Man United’s player of the month award (voted by fans) for top performances last month and has a contract worth £80,000-a-week ($100,000-a-week) that should expire at the end of the current campaign (Daily Mirror).
Antonio Valencia UnitedHowever, things have probably changed now. If the latest reports are anything to go by then the the 31-year-old star has agreed a two year extension that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2018 (The Sun).
Valencia was signed by Alex Ferguson after selling Ronaldo to Real Madrid. The veteran star is a natural winger but recently, he has been effectively utilized in the right back position.
This season, the former Wigan Athletic player has featured in 18 games for Manchester United and provided 3 assists.
Not to forget, the Red Devils are in talks to sign (via A Bola) highly rated Benfica right back Nelson Semedo.
