Mourinho Moves in to Finally Agree £85million Star Signing for Man Utd

Manchester United have been interested in signing Atletico Madrid’s superstar playmker Antoine Griezmann for quite some time.
Back in May, reports suggested that the Red Devils are willing to pay whatever it takes to hire his services (via El Confidencial).
Now, reports claim that Manchester United have moved in and initiated talks to secure his signature. Jose Mourinho has stepped in himself and told the Old Trafford chiefs to finally sanction the deal for the 25-year-old playmaker (The Sun).
This season, the French international has featured in 21 games for the Spanish side, scored 9 goals and also provided 6 assists.
After brilliant performances for both club and country, the former Real Sociedad attacker was handed a new deal with a release clause of £85million (Mirror).
However, as per the provided Sun link, United have asked a leading agent to agree a deal for Antoine that is expected to cost around £60million.
Griezmann has recently been named the world’s third best player after finishing behind Ronaldo and Messi in Ballon d’Or race. Therefore, it will not be surprising if Atletico want full payment of the release clause to let their prized asset leave the club.

i think Greizmann will be a
boost for the club. He’s a great player with an outright moral character.
That combination with his best friend Pogba will yield immensely.
